The primary motive of offering a business internship is to educate students on the various business aspects. A business internship generally offers the students an opportunity to perform a few or more of the following tasks: analyzing business reports, visiting facilities of the firm, checking for improvements, analyzing the processes adopted by the firm to perform various activities, suggesting changes, observing and learning from the way managers make decisions, attending training sessions and meetings, writing minutes of meetings, preparing productivity report on behalf of managers, performing other tasks assigned by managers. A business intern typically reports to a manager. A business internship is offered to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in business administration. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Excellent business ability is essential. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required.
