I saw a television show the other day about what goes into building a house and how builders make sure the house can stand up to the elements. There was also a segment about extra steps you can take to save money on heating and cooling by properly weatherizing your home. I’ve never owned a house, but it gave me some things to think about for when I do become a property owner. I am also going to talk to my parents about having someone who has taken weatherization training to come to their house and show them how they can get their house weatherized correctly Apparently, this will allow them to save on heating and cooling costs.
