I’m not the perfect housewife, but I have found that preventative cleaning goes a long way in taking care of the marble tiles on my floors. Dirt and grit can wreak havoc on the sleek stone surfaces, which can leave your tiles open to further damage by weakening their structure. I avoid using a vacuum on my marble floors at all, but if you must use one, make sure the vacuum cleaner is in good condition. Worn vacuum parts can also damage your tile. Instead, a soft dust mop is a good solution and cleaning just a few minutes a day will keep your floors looking tidy.
