The effects of air pollution can be gravely dangerous to our health. In fact, the WHO estimates that world wide there are over 2 million deaths related to the effects of air pollution! What is even more concerning is that over half of those deaths are the direct result of indoor air pollution.
Studies found that as a result of breathing in the particles that constitute air pollution, we have the tendency to develop cardiopulmonary disease. Another side effect of this pollution is pneumonia and deaths caused by pneumonia. Often the source of pollution related to this is that from automobiles. If you are a jogger then you might consider running in the park from now on.
