Drawing lots to obtain Christmas gifts makes it easier, but there are also some difficulties. The temptation to disobey commands is something I battle with all the time. I have to purchase my mom a mixer, so I’m studying mixers reviews to get an approximation of what’s good. I’ve never been interested in baking though. Still, I suppose getting my dear mother a brand-new mixer isn’t too much to ask. There’s really nothing like what she bakes. It’s like being in Eden when you wake up at dawn and smell blueberry muffins. Mom says she adds an extra special something to whatever she bakes. She’s held that ace up her sleeve for years.
