Because of the public awareness of our new building projects, we get a lot of visitors down at the job site. It’s not the best place for public officials and guest dignitaries to be showing up, but I guess they all want to get some publicity out of this. Anyway, the last thing that I need to have to deal with is the death or injury of one of the visitors. To make sure that doesn’t happen, I always insist that they must wear our brightly colored breakaway public safety vests while they are within the perimeter of the job site. They may not like it, but they’re not going to get hurt on my watch.
