A lot of people think that vertical leap exercises are essentially exercises like squats, crunches, knee bends etc. which are designed to strengthen the three major sections of body- lower back, abdomen and legs. Let me inform you that warm up sessions form an integral part of Vertical leap exercises regime. One can do power walking, slow running, jogging, climbing up and down the stairs as a part of the warm up sessions. Warming up is a necessity. One needs to open up the body before moving on to the heavier and more energy consuming exercises.  Thus, include a warming up section in your exercise regime.
