When I went to school the apple computer was just being put into classrooms as a way to get teachers engaged in showing kids about computers. It was at the time the wave of the future but the internet hadn’t yet been conceived- at least not for the main stream as it is today. Today, computers have come a long way and you’d be hard pressed to find a school anywhere, even pre-school, that doesn’t have a bunch of computers for kids to learn on. Educational software is becoming a standard in the classroom and many kids are also learning at home using the same software.
