The Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) are accrediting schools and setting pre-requisites for students to accomplish before they can enter. Although various acupuncture schools do not require any undergraduate degree but the ACAOM does require student applicants to have at least two years of undergraduate study before they can be approved with their admission. Students are required to study for at least two years in their respective community colleges taking related courses. Other schools for Acupuncture are now asking students to gain a bachelor’s degree first in any related fields before they can pursue learning Acupuncture healing.
