There are many things that must be considered to write an effective speech for the funeral of a loved one.  While you are going to want to talk about all the memories you have of the person, you will want to consider the theme you are going to use.  All eulogies should have a theme, whether this be a life history, a tribute, a collection of memories, a legacy, or a simple poem or reading, you will be able to choose the best for the loved one who was lost.  This really depends on what you would like to convey to the audience at the funeral and the way the person’s life was lived.
