A training schedule for a sprint triathlon only needs to include a minimum of three days a week. One of the days will be in a pool or open air water practicing your crawl strokes, racing form and building endurance. Another day will channel your training program on the bike portion of the race. You will practice the best racing position on the bike, how to use the mirrors to see what is going on around you without interrupting the flow and building endurance. The final day of training will be involved with practicing long distance running form, pacing and endurance.
